Chamber Joins Planning Committee for 2010 Tijuana Innovadora Conference

The Chamber has joined the planning committee for the Tijuana Innovadora Conference, to be held October 7-21, 2010.  The conference will highlight Tijuana's role as a prime location for developing industries.

Former Vice President and Nobel Prize winner Al Gore will deliver a keynote address at the conference on October 14, a day devoted to the theme of sustainability.  His talk will focus on the new technologies industries are using to protect the environment.

The conference also features three other Nobel Prize winners – Robert Aumann (economy), and Robert Grubbs and Mario Molina (both chemistry) – as well as innovation leaders Francis Fukuyama, Xani Jardin, Jim Wales, the founder of Wikipedia, among others.

Most morning sessions will be free, while $100 covers afternoon events on any given day. The dinners are being sold for $2,000 for a package of five.
