WHO WE ARE... The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1870 by Alonzo Horton. His idea was to have a group of professionals who could watch the lawmakers and report any legislation that would impede the progress of San Diego Businesses. Today's San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is still the non-profit business advocacy group Mr. Horton envisioned. With more than 130 years of experience, the Chamber offers unprecedented benefits, discounts, and opportunities to make San Diego Regional businesses prosperous. ![]() HOW DOES IT WORK? It takes involvement. We provide many networking opportunities, and provide opportunities for members to get involved in Public Policy and government issues. It saves money. We offer many resources that help members cut costs, and become more productive. As a membership organization, the services we provide and the discounts we offer are exclusively for businesses and organizations that are active members of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. |
