Join us for an opportunity to network and meet your fellow Chamber members! After spending time building your network of professional connects, you will have the opportunity to expand your business knowledge by attending one of two short workshops.
Each workshop is designed to be informative and fast paced to provide you with skills that you can use immediately to improve your businesses outcomes. There will be plenty of coffee and delicious morning snacks to keep you powered up for a strong start to your day.

1.) How to Create Your Own Sales/Service Questionaire (and get responses!) to Help Grow Your Business
Surveys are nothing new, but the ability to easily conduct one is. How many of us truly understand how to construct a survey? If you’ve ever sat down to create a survey, you’ll know it’s not always easy! In this workshop, we will teach you how to reach out to your customers to learn more about their interactions with your business and employees. We will teach you how to gain valuable insights into their personality and preferences that can be used to personalize their experience including marketing and sales opportunities.
In our workshop, Creating Surveys to Gain a Competitive Edge, we try to give everyone the basic tools they need to easily create surveys that will be answered and understand the data received. In our workshop you will learn the following:
- Steps to prepare for a survey.
- The basic questions every survey should contain.
- How to construct questions that provide insights into an individual’s personality and preferences.
- How to tell whether the survey taker is telling the truth.
- How to understand and visualize your data in a compelling way.

Kristen Ford is the CEO of Insight Data Solutions, a data architecture and analytics firm that offers business intelligence solutions to small and medium-sized companies. She brings over twenty years experience working with businesses to achieve greater efficiency and profitability in their operations. Her presentation was designed and co-authored by Dr. W. Todd Maddox, PhD, Chief Data Scientist for Insight Data Solutions. Dr. Maddox’s expertise in behavioral science and twenty-five years conducting research using surveys gives him a unique perspective that will assist anyone looking to achieve better success and more information about their clients and personnel.

He is a Ph.D. candidate in Business Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and is passionate about helping people and organizations have a positive impact.
