Take Action in Support of Comprehensive Pension Reform

Comprehensive Pension Reform is the single most important initiative for getting San Diego’s financial house in order. The issue impacts every business and San Diegan. The Chamber is committed to collecting 1,500 signatures to help get the initiative on the ballot and we need you and your company to get involved.

The initiative is more than halfway to its goal of collecting signatures, but opponents have raised the stakes by blocking signature collection efforts and broadcasting misleading radio advertisements. Opponents know that when the initiative is on the ballot, it will pass overwhelmingly.

Now is the time for the business community to get in the game! We need your help in informing your employees about this important issue.

Help us reach our goal of 1,500 signatures by:

o Signing the petition at a Chamber event!
o Hosting a company event to gather signatures from your employees.
o Donating directly to the cause by visiting the campaign website.

Your efforts will help the City save between $1 – 2 billion over the next 27 years. That means instead of paying lavish pensions, the City can fix more potholes, build more parks, and provide more services to keep San Diego America’s Finest City.
