California Coast Credit Union Offers No-Cost Financial Literacy Workshops
California Coast Credit Union hosts monthly no-cost workshops to provide financial education to members of the local community.
Workshop topics include investing strategies, budgeting, debt management, understanding your credit report, estate planning, long-term care insurance, what you need to know about buying or refinancing a home or auto, as well as workshops designed to help young adults develop skills to make good financial choices.
Workshops are held at the credit union’s administrative offices in Kearny Mesa and occasionally at select branch offices in the North County and the Temecula/Murrieta area. All workshops are open to the general public. Workshop schedules are posted quarterly at calcoastcu.org.
“Our interactive workshops provide the opportunity for participants to receive unbiased information they can put to immediate use and ask questions in a personal and non-intimidating environment,” said Rene’ McKee, vice president of marketing and community relations for California Coast Credit Union.
California Coast embraces the philosophy of “people helping people” and serving its members’ best interest every day. Established in 1929, California Coast Credit Union is San Diego’s oldest financial institution with over 20 branches, competitive deposit and loan rates, online and mobile banking along with additional value-added member benefits.
