San Diego, Calif.— The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce (SDRCC) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) will honor Gary Miller and Dave Zeller, owners of PeopleFirst.com, for their selection as one of the SDRCC’s Emerging Businesses of the Month. They will be honored at the Annual Tribute to Small and Emerging Business Awards Luncheon to take place in May.

Miller and Zeller started the company up in 1997 with three employees. Today, their reengineered Internet auto loan has catapulted their company into a success story of their own--with more than 36 employees presently. The company has managed to help thousands of people nationally, through Internet loan applications and 15-minute approvals. Their achievements will lead them to the stage at the Tribute Luncheon.

"While our award winners are quick to thank others for supporting them in their endeavors, it is they themselves who have taken the risks," William W. Eigner, chair of the Emerging Business Center’s Advisory Committee at the SDRCC said.

The Annual Tribute Luncheon celebrates the National Small Business Week taking place this year from May 21 to 27. The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and the SBA are planning the annual Tribute to Small and Emerging Business Awards Luncheon on May 25. This year’s theme, "A Salute to the Stars," honors the entrepreneurs who have helped create one of the best economies in decades. The luncheon, to be held at the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center, will feature dozens of local award-winners.
